Sometimes you just need to treat yourself. And not just in the case of “I’ve had a bad day/week/month/year/etc.”, but in a “I’ve got the resources and I matter to myself” preemptive self-care kind of way. I’ve been dealing with a lot of stress due to health issues, a heavy course load and work, so I’m trying to be more proactive with stress management. Eating great food is one of the tactics I’m using, in combination with mindfulness. How can I be super stressed about everything in my life that could possibly go wrong if I’m focused on the taste and texture of the food I’m eating?
I recently went to Tomi Sushi and got the Extra Special Chirashi. I have what was in mine listed down below, but if you were to go you might get something different depending on what is in season, and what the chef thinks is the best.
While Tomi Sushi’s website shows many “areas for improvement”, it does have their business hours and locations.
