I am a San Jose State University student studying Public Relations. I have traveled across the US while volunteering with AmeriCorps programs and regret that I didn’t document my journey. While this has started as a class project, I plan to continue so that I have an accurate accounting of not only where I’ve been and what I did there, but how I felt about it.
I am interested in traveling around the world, and seeing that I am a broke college student it’s unlikely to happen any time soon. So I’ve decided to redirect that passion to the area around my hometown. There are so many local things that I haven’t done simply because they’ve “always been there, and always will be”. I’m working on changing that mindset, and pursuing new experiences.
